Welcome to Scenders. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and the purchase of products through our platform. Please read them carefully before making any purchases or using our services.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Scenders website, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
Products and Pricing
All products listed on our website are subject to availability. Prices shown are the Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) set by each manufacturer. MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) is displayed for reference when applicable. Prices are listed in US dollars and may change without notice. While we strive for accuracy, we are not responsible for typographical errors in pricing. In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and notify you. Product images are provided by manufacturers and may vary slightly from the actual product.
MAP Policy Compliance
Scenders fully supports the Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policies set by our vendor partners. These policies exist to preserve brand image and value. MAP and MSRP prices appear on our product detail pages and in search results. We are committed to compliance with all vendor MAP policies.
Orders and Payment
By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order. Payment is due at the time of purchase. We accept major credit cards processed securely through Stripe. All transactions are encrypted and your payment information is never stored on our servers.
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping costs are based on the weight and contents of your order: $7.50 for orders up to 1 lb, $12.00 for orders over 1 lb, with surcharges for bulky items ($15.00 for 25–50 lbs, $50.00 for 50+ lbs). Orders up to 15 lbs ship via USPS Ground Advantage. Orders placed before the cut-off time ship same day. Shipping times are estimates and not guarantees. Scenders is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. Expedited shipping is not available at this time. Returns and Restocking
Scenders accepts returns on non-defective products purchased within 30 days of the original purchase date. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Returned items are subject to a 15% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund along with all associated shipping costs. Products must be in original packaging, unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition as when purchased. Items purchased at closeout or liquidation prices, and special orders, are not eligible for return. For items under $25, a store credit will be issued rather than a refund. Warranty
All products sold by Scenders are warranted against manufacturing defects for a minimum of one year. Some manufacturers provide extended warranty periods which we honor fully. Warranty claims require a return authorization number obtained from our support team. Freight costs to ship defective products to us are the customer's responsibility. Warranty does not cover damage from crashes, abuse, normal wear and tear, improper installation, or misuse. Products will not be automatically replaced; we will repair, credit, or replace at our discretion after inspection.
Shipping Damages & Claims
Customers must note any damage on the shipping waybill upon delivery and notify both the carrier and Scenders immediately. Photographs of damaged goods should be taken as soon as possible. Shipping damages or shortages must be reported within 10 days of delivery, or the claim may be voided. Delivery errors (wrong items, incorrect quantities) must also be reported within 10 days. Over-shipped items not returned may be invoiced.
Sales Tax
Scenders is responsible for collection and remittance of all applicable sales taxes. Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and applicable state and local tax rates.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Scenders website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of Scenders or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this site without our explicit written permission.
User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Scenders is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to protect your credentials.
Limitation of Liability
Scenders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products. Our total liability for any claim related to our products or services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Buncombe County, North Carolina.
